Effective when the live service opens. This notice covers the room marketplace, accounts, messages and support.

What we use and why

We use your email, authentication records, listing information, uploaded photos and conversations to provide your account and connect tenants with landlords. For landlord accounts, we also keep your name, registration date, assigned plan, trial dates and plan-change records and subscription payment references. Authorised billing administrators can review landlord names, account emails and plan settings. We process reports and necessary technical logs to protect the service, investigate abuse and handle support. Providing account and messaging services is necessary to perform our agreement with you; preventing abuse and keeping the service secure serves our legitimate interests. We may retain records where required by law.

What is visible

Published listing details and photos are public. Upload only photos you have permission to share, and keep private documents and precise personal details out of public listings. Conversations are accessible to their participants. Moderators can review listings and reports; the standard moderator role does not grant access to private conversations. Authorised operators and infrastructure providers may process data where necessary for support, security or legal obligations.

Service providers

We use Supabase for accounts, database records and photo storage, and Netlify for website hosting. OVHcloud hosts our support mailbox. Stripe processes subscription checkout, billing contact details, card payments and payment receipts. Card details are entered on Stripe’s pages; we store payment references, subscription status and access dates rather than full card numbers. Our planned primary database location is within the EU. Provider support, delivery and infrastructure may involve processing elsewhere, subject to the applicable contractual safeguards. The homepage also loads an illustrative room image from Unsplash; that image request exposes your IP address and browser request information to its image service.

Storage on your device

We store the sign-in session on your device so you can remain logged in. The local demonstration also stores sample records in your browser. This version does not include advertising trackers or analytics. Signing out clears the active session.

Retention

Account records and listings are kept while needed to provide the service. In this initial version, removing a listing also removes its associated conversations, messages and reports from the active database. Account closure is handled through support, including uploaded-photo cleanup. Provider logs and backups can remain for their configured retention periods; records may also be retained when a legal obligation or a specific dispute requires it.

Your choices and rights

Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal data, where applicable. You can also complain to your local supervisory authority, including Portugal’s CNPD. We will assess requests and respond within the applicable legal time limits.
